Job Description
- As a Backend Developer, you will be expected to have the following qualifications and responsibilities:
**Role Overview:**
You should have a strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Java, Go, or Rust. Additionally, a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and system design is crucial. It is essential that you have worked with reactive programming and have experience with microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven systems. Hands-on experience with databases including SQL and NoSQL (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, Scylla) is required. Familiarity with streaming/queueing systems like Kafka, cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable. You should also have a good grasp of observability including metrics, logging, tracing, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex distributed systems are a must, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
