Job Description

A Junior Next.js Developer is responsible for supporting the team in building scalable and performant web applications using the Next.js framework. You will assist with frontend development, API integration, dynamic routing, and actively learn modern React and Next.js concepts under mentorship.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining frontend components using Next.js and React, understanding and implementing project requirements based on client needs and timelines, integrating RESTful APIs, and handling frontend logic. You should show eagerness to learn Next.js best practices, latest features, and performance optimization techniques.
You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, project leads, and backend developers to understand assigned tasks. It is essential to write clean, modular, and reusable code using React and Next.js conventions, work with features like SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and API routes, and implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS (or TailwindCSS), and JavaScript. Additionally, you will assist in dynamic routing, state management, and fetching data with tools like SWR or React Query, participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and code reviews, and debug and resolve issues based on feedback from senior team members. Keeping yourself updated with evolving Next.js features and contributing to a modern frontend development environment is crucial.

The minimum qualification required for this role includes a degree in BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / BCA / MSc (CS/IT).
Desired skills for this position include a basic understanding of Next.js and React.js, familiarity with JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, exposure to component-based architecture and frontend state management, understanding of basic API integration, experience with Git and version control practices, internship or academic project in React/Next.js (a strong plus), good communication, problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team and accept constructive feedback.,
