What you will work on (real production work, not dummy tasks)

As a Data Science/Engineer Intern, you will contribute to a variety of tasks, including cleaning and processing data, designing ETL/ELT pipelines, and conducting data analysis to uncover actionable insights. Responsibilities include building compelling data visualizations and dashboards, analyzing large datasets, and applying statistical techniques to solve real-world problems. You may also support the development of applied AI models and assist in ensuring proper data governance practices are in place.

You will help us build reusable data pipelines and analytics foundations:

• Pull data from APIs (YouTube, CRM, marketing platforms, internal systems, spreadsheets)
  
• Handle pagination, rate limits, retries, and proper logging
• Implement incremental loads (watermark logic) and avoid duplicates
• Design clean tables in PostgreSQL (dim/fact models, upserts, history tracking)
• Create basic data quality checks (row-count anomalies, missing values, schema drift)
• Support dashboards and reporting layers (Power BI / Excel / Looker Studio depending on client)

Must-have skills (we will test basics)

• Strong SQL (joins, group by, window basics, performance mindset)
• Comfortable with Python basics (requests, JSON, functions, loops) OR strong no-code automation mindset (n8n)
• Understanding of ETL concepts: incremental loads, idempotency, data modeling
• Clean communication + attention to detail (you can explain what you built)

Good-to-have (bonus points)

• Flutter / Airbyte / DBT exposure
• Power BI basics (modeling + measures) or any BI tool familiarity
• Git/GitHub basics

What success looks like

By the end of the internship you will have shipped:

• At least 1 reusable API connector with incremental load + logging
• At least 1 clean dataset in SQL/Postgres/Database ready for dashboards
• Documentation that another engineer can run without you
