Purchasing Manager

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Purchase Manager to develop and build our purchase team at Guwahati manufacturing unit for All Time Bamboo Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of All Time Plastics Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing purchase and its end to end process for bamboo which includes vendor development, material movement, legal and compliances.

Industry:Paper/Pulp/Wood industries will be considered

Education Qualification:: BE Mechanical

Experience : 15+years

1. Raw Material & Vendor Liaisoning

• Source bamboo and bamboo-based raw materials from farmers, aggregators, forest-based cooperatives, and approved suppliers across Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and nearby regions.
• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base ensuring consistent quality and supply.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and long-term contracts.
• Ensure compliance with forest regulations, transit permits, and sustainability norms.
• 
  Experience working with local suppliers, farmer groups, and government bodies is an advantage

2. Quality & Compliance

• Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to ensure material specifications are met.
• Ensure procurement complies with environmental, legal, and ESG standards.
• Maintain documentation related to vendor approvals, audits, and certifications.

3. Inventory & Logistics Coordination

• Work closely with stores, logistics, and production teams for smooth inward material flow.
• Support warehouse stock audits and reconciliation.

4. End-to-End Logistics Management

• Manage complete logistics operations from source to plant, including:
• Transport planning and route optimization
• Coordination with transporters and logistics partners

• Scheduling dispatches aligned with production plans
• Monitor inbound logistics costs, lead times, and transit risks.
• Track lead times, transit risks, and storage conditions for bamboo and consumables.
• Resolve logistics bottlenecks related to terrain, weather, permits, and remote sourcing locations.
• Ensure safe handling, storage conditions, and minimal transit damage of bamboo and materials.
• Optimize freight costs through rate negotiations and transporter empanelment.

5. MIS, Reporting & Systems

• Maintain accurate purchase records, MIS, and dashboards.
• Track KPIs such as cost savings, vendor performance, delivery adherence, and quality rejections.
• Use ERP systems for PO creation, GRNs, and invoice reconciliation
