Job Description
- Role Overview:
You are sought after to fill the position of a skilled and motivated QA/Tester (T-SQL Expert) for banking data migration projects. Your role will involve analyzing requirements, designing test strategies, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and contributing to test automation initiatives. You will be an integral part of cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, design test strategies, and develop detailed test plans.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases/scripts for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives for efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a Test Analyst/QA role, preferably client-facing.
- Strong T-SQL skills for data selection and validation.
- Experience in financial services, with retail and business banking experience highly valued.

- Hands-on experience with large data migration and integration programs.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Experience with Jira Xray, Confluence, and defect tracking tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 2 days onsite in Bangalore.
Additional Company Details:
The job type is contractual/temporary with a contract length of 6 months. The work location is in person, with a hybrid model of 2 days onsite per week in Bangalore. Interested professionals or referrals are welcome to apply for this opportunity.,
