Position Overview

Do you have the confident to take the lead, use initiative, be trusted to dive right in, and build the worlds leading industrial coatings resins company branding and help to make everyday activities easier for people around the world allnex invites you to join us as Technical Sales/Account Manager for in either Chennai or Bangalore remotely to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. In this role, you will be the face of allnexs business in the South India, and Sri Lanka market and manage target segment-customer lists and opportunity pipeline. You will be enhancing and managing the interactions with existing customers from direct and indirect accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth, provide high quality sales and technical support to customers in South India and Sri Lanka.
  • Build strong relationships with new sales accounts and key customers, maintaining professional selling and technical support at the highest level.
  • Evaluate market potential and opportunities for allnex products in South India and Sri Lanka.
  • Lead, direct, and motivate relevant distributors to meet corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services & Development team to prioritize and manage technical services for customers, ensuring professional and high-quality product presentations and promotions are carried out.
  • Cooperate with regional sales team, look for more new business opportunities.
  • Explore new markets or segments in accordance with the products strategic plan.
  • Develop and create new business opportunities for South India and Sri Lankas market.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 5 - 10 years experience in Business Development, Sales, or Technical Service with demonstrated exposure in chemical industry.
  • Experience working in coating resin industry is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and Tamil languages.
  • Good command in Telugu or Kannada is a plus.

    Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Track record in key account management and business / customer development in new markets or with new products.
  • Strong hunter mindset to drive business growth.
  • Sales skills and commercial acumen.
  • A strong bias towards action leading to commercialization.
  • Ability to travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Paint Technology or any Science discipline. MBA is a plus.
