Role:Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Python and Selenium
- Develop automated test scripts for web applications and microservices
- Implement and maintain BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber/Behave)
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform API automation testing for microservices-based architectures
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to improve test coverage and product quality
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams for resolution
- Ensure best practices in test automation, coding standards, and documentation
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with automation frameworks and BDD tools
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience in API testing (RESTful services, Postman, pytest, etc.)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, Gatling)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with test reporting and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with AI/ML-driven testing approaches is a plus
- Preferred domains include automotive, healthcare, locomotive, web applications, AI technologies, etc.
