Job Profile:
We are looking for an experienced Equity Specialist to act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the People (C&B), Finance, and Company Secretary (CS) teams for all equity-related operations. This role ensures seamless administration of the organizations ESOP program, governance, compliance, and reporting across stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our equity data, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting employees and leadership in all equity-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ESOP Administration & Governance
- Manage end-to-end ESOP activities — including grant issuance, vesting schedules, exercise tracking, and expirations.
- Maintain a real-time and accurate equity cap table, ensuring alignment between teams.
- Support corporate actions such as bonus issues, splits, or buybacks by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all processes comply with statutory, accounting, and internal governance standards.
2. Tool & Data Management
- Administer the equity management platform (e.g., Qapita) — including setup, configuration, integrations, and vendor coordination.
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding and ensure synchronization between HRIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and the equity platform.
- Maintain data integrity, ensure audit readiness, and uphold internal security and governance protocols.
- Coordinate with the vendor for upgrades, performance, and training of internal users.
3. Financial & Statutory Coordination - Partner with the Finance team for accounting, taxation, reconciliation, and audit support related to equity programs.
- Collaborate with the CS team to ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, insider trading policies, and statutory filings.
- Manage data and documentation for Board and regulatory disclosures.
4. Reporting & Audit Readiness
- Act as the SPOC for all audit-related queries and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely preparation of reports, audit trails, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Train internal team SPOCs on tool-based report generation and interpretation.
5. Stakeholder & Employee Support
- Act as the primary contact (StockAdmin) for employee queries related to grants, vesting, and exercises.

- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure timely query resolution.
- Support leadership in developing and improving processes that enhance transparency and efficiency.
6. Additional Responsibilities
- Liaise with fund houses and custodians for loan-related reconciliations.
- Coordinate employee Demat and PAN account setups.
- Work with tax partners to resolve tax-related matters linked to equity transactions.
Skills and Expertise Required:
- Strong understanding of Indian equity regulations, corporate governance, and insider trading guidelines.
- Experience with equity management tools such as Qapita or similar platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, data accuracy, and process discipline.
- Working knowledge of international equity frameworks.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
