Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Cashier will greet guests, take orders accurately, process cash and electronic payments, and issue receipts while following company cash-handling procedures. The role involves managing the point-of-sale system, checking order accuracy, and coordinating with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food delivery. The Cashier will answer customer questions, handle basic concerns, and promote menu items or offers as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized counter area, complying with health, safety, and hygiene standards, and supporting other front-of-house tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and follow standard cash-handling procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously with guests and respond to questions or concerns.
• Basic numerical and problem-solving skills to manage payments, change, and simple customer inquiries.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and order accuracy.
• Previous experience in retail or food service front-of-house roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks, in line with health and safety standards.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in the region is an advantage.
