Shift Supervisor

Front of House Supervisor – TGI Fridays

Job Purpose

Responsible for supervising front-of-house operations and leading the team to deliver excellent guest service, smooth restaurant operations, and consistent TGI Fridays standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily FOH operations and ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and support FOH team members during daily and peak operations.
• Assist with staff scheduling, deployment, training, and performance follow-up.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and timely food and beverage service.
• Monitor POS transactions, cash handling, food safety, hygiene, and inventory procedures.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales, service, quality, and operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and UAE food safety requirements.

Requirements

• 2–4 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant or casual dining environment, preferably with supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/restaurant qualification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of POS, cash handling, food safety, inventory, and restaurant operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, approachable, dependable, organized, proactive, and calm under pressure.
• Strong team leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate employees.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and coordinate multiple teams during busy periods.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and extended periods standing/walking.
