Job Description
- As the lead Systems Analyst for the Banking Cash Solutions (BCS) First Line Risk Management team at Ameriprise India LLP, your role will involve overseeing SharePoint development and leveraging Microsoft Power platform tools. You will also be responsible for managing business-created MS Access databases as they transition to more sustainable technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop, maintain, and support SharePoint sites across the BCS First Line Risk Management team, collaborating with other teams to understand business requirements and develop efficient solutions using MS SharePoint/Power Platform.
- Maintain existing databases and transition to Power Platform or other solutions as necessary.
- Ongoing maintenance and development of the Service Provider and Oversight Tool on the MS Power platform for scheduling, tracking, and reporting compliance assessments.
- Provide system administration for the Bank Ops Risk tool used for audit and critical BCS health.
- Coach and troubleshoot with BCS partners on SharePoint, PowerBI, and MS PowerApps.
- Stay updated on the latest technology and information technology standards.
- Analyze First Line Risk testing functionalities for enhancements, including data analytics and automation.
- Support BCS Risk system access management, including analysis of Segregation of Duties and maintenance of system access rules.
- Prepare metrics for First Line Risk Management functions and risk reporting for senior management in BCS.
- Perform quarterly control testing as needed to support the First Line Risk function in BCS.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputed university with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge and experience in developing/working with SharePoint.
- Expert knowledge and experience in MS Power Tool suite like Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Strong experience with MS Excel and Access databases.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to work on multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with General Risk Management principles.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of US Banking functions and/or systems, data analysis, technology standards and controls, Data Lake environments, SQL, and at least one programming language.
