We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition who will play a key role in driving hiring strategies, managing full-cycle recruitment, and building a strong talent pipeline with a preference for candidates experienced in recruiting within the Power, Solar, or Renewable Energy sectors.
Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process across technical and non-technical functions within the renewable energy domain. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of industry talent dynamics, strategic sourcing expertise, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to attract and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the entire recruitment lifecycle – manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, and onboarding.
- Partner with business and functional heads to understand hiring needs and build effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical and niche positions within the solar and energy domain.
- Source candidates through multiple channels – job portals, professional networks, referrals, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.).
- Drive employer branding initiatives and participate in job fairs and industry events to enhance visibility in the renewable energy talent market.
- Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to recruitment SLAs and quality parameters.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks.
- Support HR projects related to diversity hiring, process improvement, and employee experience.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – essential for candidate engagement, stakeholder interaction, and negotiation.
- 8–10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in the Power, Solar, or Renewable Energy industry.

- Strong understanding of technical roles such as project engineers, design engineers, EPC professionals, site managers, and O&M experts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines.
- Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), MS Excel, and HR analytics tools.
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
Educational Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Certifications in recruitment, HR analytics, or strategic workforce planning are a plus.
