Role Overview:
As a Sales Manager based in Kolkata, you will spearhead the growth of our broking and wealth management business by acquiring and managing high-value client relationships. You will act as a strategic bridge between the firm's investment research capabilities and the evolving financial goals of our clients. This role involves leading sales initiatives, mentoring a team of relationship managers, and ensuring the delivery of personalized investment strategies that align with market trends and client risk profiles. Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand the client base for equity, derivatives, and portfolio management services.
- Drive lead generation efforts through networking, market mapping, and leveraging professional connections to identify high-potential prospects.
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with existing high-net-worth clients to ensure high retention rates and increased share of wallet.
- Mentor and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve regional targets while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
- Collaborate with the research and investment banking teams to provide clients with timely market insights and customized investment solutions.

Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end sales cycles within the broking and wealth management industry, with 8 to 15 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in capital markets, equity sales, and portfolio management, with the ability to articulate complex investment products to sophisticated investors.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with HNI clients and influencing key decision-makers.
- Proven track record in team leadership, including the ability to coach, motivate, and drive performance in a high-pressure sales environment.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and optimize client engagement strategies.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in India.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment, fostering collaboration within the Kolkata office and across regional branches.
