Forward Deployed Engineer

The Role

• You will be Antino's engineer on the ground: embedded with clients, close to their operations, and accountable for a solution that works in their real environment.
• You will sit with client teams to understand how their business actually runs: the processes, the systems, the data and the exceptions nobody wrote down.
• You will then design, build and integrate the solution, often across ERP, CRM, core platforms and legacy systems, and take it all the way to production.
• Once it is live, you stay close to it. You monitor, fix and improve it, and you bring what you learn in the field back to Antino's product, engineering and AI teams, so every deployment makes the next one faster.

What Makes This Role Different?

You own the outcome at the client site, from the first conversation to a system people use every day. This is a hands-on engineering role with a client-facing edge, not a pure consulting or support role.

The ideal candidate is a strong engineer who understands businesses as well as code.

What We Look For

Tier-1 Background

• You studied at a Tier-1 institute (IIT, NIT, BITS, IIIT or equivalent), or you worked at Tier-1 companies such as top product companies, AI-first startups, or the forward deployed and solutions engineering teams of leading SaaS and consulting firms.

Real-World Systems

• You understand how businesses actually operate: processes, approvals, hand-offs, exceptions and legacy constraints. You design for the messy reality, not only the happy path.

Integration Veteran

• You have delivered complex integrations across multiple enterprise systems in production, and you know where they break.

Domain Expert

• You have done substantial work in at least one industry domain and speak its language with clients.

Audience-Aware

• You know what to say and how to say it, whether you are in front of a CXO, an operations head or an engineer.

High Ownership

• You are comfortable with ambiguity, work independently at client sites, and own outcomes end to end.

Discovery and Solution Design

• Work embedded with client teams to map real processes, data flows, systems and pain points.

• Translate business requirements into technical designs with clear trade-offs.

• Build prototypes and proofs of concept quickly to validate business use cases.

• Run workshops, walkthroughs and solution demonstrations with business and technical stakeholders.

• Scope delivery phases and agree measurable success criteria with the client.

Build and Integrate

• Design, develop, test and deploy production software and AI-driven solutions.

• Integrate with ERP, CRM, core platforms, legacy databases, third-party APIs, event streams and identity systems.

• Work with messy real-world data: extraction, mapping, cleansing and reconciliation.

• Customise and configure solutions to each client's processes and constraints.

Deploy and Operate

• Take solutions to production in client environments, including private cloud, VPC and on-premise.

• Meet enterprise requirements for security, access control, audit and data residency.

• Own go-live and hypercare; troubleshoot issues hands-on across systems.

• Monitor deployed solutions and continuously improve performance and reliability.

• Document integrations, configurations, deployment processes and runbooks.

Field Feedback and Enablement

• Bring field learnings back to Product, Engineering, AI/ML and Business teams.

• Turn repeated patterns into reusable connectors, accelerators and Company Brain capabilities.

• Mentor engineers on client delivery, integration practice and deployment discipline.

• Represent the client's reality inside Antino, and Antino's engineering inside the client.

• Delivered multi-system integrations in production, including SAP or Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Dynamics or Zoho CRM, core banking or insurance platforms, EHR (HL7/FHIR), legacy SOAP/XML services, batch and SFTP feeds, event streaming (Kafka), and iPaaS tools (MuleSoft, Boomi).

• Strong understanding of business processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, claims, customer onboarding and KYC, or supply chain, including how systems support them, exceptions, and edge cases.

• Substantial, demonstrable work experience in at least one domain: BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce, logistics, energy, or the public sector.

• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.js or Java, with the ability to write clean, tested, production-grade code.

• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), ETL and data pipelines, data mapping, and data quality.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker, CI/CD, and Git; and deploying solutions into client-controlled environments.
