Finance Controller

The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including bookkeeping, taxation, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee all financial activities, including bookkeeping, month-end closing, taxation, GST, and tax-related matters. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines set forth by regulatory authorities and other applicable bodies. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain effective internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Implement controls to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.
• 
  Audit Coordination: Liaise with auditors, both internal and external, to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
• Managerial Experience: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Supervise and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess the companys financial performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-8 years of work experience, or non-CA with 10-12 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Proven experience in financial management, including bookkeeping, taxation, and audit coordination.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including SEBI regulations, taxation laws, and internal control standards.
• Experience working with auditors, preferably with experience in a Big 6 accounting firm.
• Excellent managerial skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
