Role Overview:
As a Demand Planning Manager, you will sit at the heart of our supply chain operations, ensuring that our inventory levels are perfectly calibrated to meet the dynamic healthcare needs of our customers. You will work closely with category management, logistics, and procurement teams to translate market trends and historical data into actionable replenishment strategies. Your work directly impacts the availability of life-saving medications and health products, ensuring that our service levels remain industry-leading while optimizing working capital and reducing stock-outs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute robust demand forecasting models to ensure optimal stock availability across our regional distribution centers.
- Collaborate with vendor management teams to align supply plans with procurement cycles, ensuring consistent product availability.
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify demand patterns and mitigate risks associated with supply chain volatility.
- Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory records and streamline replenishment workflows for improved operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy and stock-turn ratios to drive continuous improvement in supply chain health.
- Implement Six Sigma methodologies to identify process bottlenecks and enhance the overall efficiency of the demand planning lifecycle.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in demand planning and supply chain analytics, with a proven ability to manage complex inventory datasets.
- Proficiency in leveraging ERP systems and advanced data visualization tools like Power BI to derive actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to apply Six Sigma principles to optimize supply chain processes and reduce operational waste.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment in Hyderabad, maintaining precision under tight deadlines.
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 1 - 3 years of relevant professional experience.
