O9 Technical Architect (WFO)

Purpose of the job

The purpose of the job is to lead Supply Chain IT side for Advance Planning System (O9). Apollo Tyres will be implementing O9 as their advance planning system and replace existing SAP APO in multi- geography set up. This role will directly work with business COE and O9 SI partners to draw the system and IT process architecture around the planning tool. Apollo Tyres is also running SAP S4 HANA transformation in parallel. This will call for constant adoption of O9 as per revamped S4 data and process architecture. The person should be able to provide leadership in defining O9 related workflows/data flows, inbound and outbound channels with various other tools to deliver auto SCM planning processes.

Major Responsibilities

APS Understanding: The person should be wearing the ATL hat and support the O9 SCM planning implementation. The person should have good functional knowledge about demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and should also have worked in doing APS Implementation especially O9 and O9 related architecture tools such as Blue Yonder, I2 etc.

Tech Experience of SCM Transformation:

• Role involves multiple tech related touch points across data, integration, S4/ECC and O9 interfacing.
• Understanding overall IT landscape and support taking design decisions with respect to O9 end-to-end design is the key expectation from this role.
• Work full-time with project team for data and technical aspects.
• Data Process & Governance: Solid knowledge on data architecture, data quality, maintenance, design implication on data and IT flow is must have.
• Fix the Data gaps provided by the Program team and the Integration Architect in the source systems. Also understand the business language converts the same to multiple IT stakeholders to get the things done practically on ground.
• Support in automating Jobs for the inbound data elements in line with the S&OP cadence.
• Drive decision on retention of data on the o9 tenant and identify data archival/ storage media for non-essential data.
• 
  Represent IT function in planning transformation steer coms.
• Demonstrate leadership skills in maneuvering project objectives across multiple stakeholders. Ensure access to source systems and data, assist in Integration testing & issue resolution.
• Stabilize the APS tool and sustain it in future from IT COE point of view. Keep evolving the tool based on changing business scenarios and landscape in the long run. Assist in application maintenance and manage transition.
• IT data set-up, design coordination across multiple IT stakeholders.

INTERNAL: Functional Heads and Managers, Supply and Demand Planning team, IT Extended Teams, Logistic teams, Affiliate business (Global, EU, Local), Cross departmental project stakeholders

EXTERNAL: Project implementation vendors, OE Partner (O9 & S4 HANA)

Skills & Knowledge

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: >

• 12 years of experience in APS (Advance Planning Systems), must have worked as functional consultant and solution architect for O9 Tool (Minimum 2 Implementations).
• Functional knowledge of Demand/Supply & Inventory planning is must have.
• Detail understanding of APS architecture (O9), config settings, data structure know how etc.. Project implementation experience (Min 2 end to end implementations in DP/SP domain).
• Should possess medium level expertise in data integration workflows across ECC/S4 systems to APS.
• Should be able to influence functional leadership.
• Good team players and assertive personality to handle conflicts.
• Understand business language, convert it to relevant technical tasks.
• Should be able to demonstrate efficient governance around project tasks.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor/Master Degree in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics or a Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in IT Supply Chain Management.

1. Identifying and monitoring master data/Integration flow used in supply chain in SAP & Planning Systems (O9/S4/ECC)

2. Understanding end to end processes related to data and system architecture

3. Lead change management and simplifying IT workflows in everchanging S4/O9 implementation 4. Interacting with multiple stakeholders and influencing them for a common good.
