Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and solution-oriented professional with expertise in data science, data warehousing, and AWS data-related services. As the ideal candidate, you should possess strong technical capabilities, proactive communication skills, and the ability to lead projects from a technical perspective. This role will involve close collaboration with clients and teams across various geographies, requiring flexibility to work during US hours.
Your responsibilities will include writing Python scripts for data processing and packaging based on project requirements, working on data science and analytics projects to provide data-driven insights, and designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, preferably using AWS services such as RDS, Redshift, Athena, and Lambda. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and maintain SQL and PostgreSQL databases, collaborate with teams to provide technical solutions, lead projects from a technical standpoint to ensure timely delivery and quality, and train and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities. You will also work effectively with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration, explore and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity, and encourage the use of automation technologies, including leveraging large language models (LLMs) where applicable. Proactive communication with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment across geographies is essential.
The required skills and qualifications for this role include:
- 5+ years of experience in relevant roles
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and PostgreSQL
- Experience in data science and analytics is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (RDS, Redshift, Athena, Lambda)
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and solutions
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience working on cloud platforms, with AWS preferred
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and their applications is a plus
