Job Description
Build automated UI/browser tests for our SaaS product using an AI-assisted workflow, generating most test code through Claude. Youll write, review, and maintain reliable Playwright/Selenium tests in Python within the framework and standards we provide, and help convert our existing manual test cases into stable automation.
Core Responsibilities
- Write and maintain automated UI tests in Python using Claude, following our established framework and patterns
- Review and harden AI-generated test code — fix flaky tests, brittle selectors, and false positives before they ship
- Convert assigned manual test cases (from TestRail) into automated tests
- Debug failing tests and keep the suite green and trustworthy
- Run tests in our CI/CD pipeline and investigate failures
- Report test results, coverage, and defects clearly
- Strong test-code review ability — you must reliably spot flaky, redundant, or incorrect tests in AI-generated code
- Solid Python proficiency for test scripting
- Hands-on UI automation with Playwright and/or Selenium
- Understanding of web fundamentals: DOM, selectors, async/wait handling, browser behavior
- Familiarity with page object model and clean, maintainable test structure
- Ability to write clear prompts/specs that produce correct AI-generated tests
- Comfortable working within an existing framework and following defined standards
- Basic CI/CD familiarity (running and debugging tests in pipelines)

- API testing (pytest + requests)
- Experience converting manual test cases to automation
