Financial Manager - Dubai

Our client is a French group specializing in safety, compliance, and quality control in the construction sector.

As part of its international development, we are looking for :

Financial Manager

Permanent position based In Dubai (Business Bay Tower)

The Financial Manager will handle the Dubai office (10 people) + the Abu Dhabi office (25 people) + Saoudi Arabia (100 people) // 135 people global

For this role, you already work with IFRS, speak fluent English + Arabic (French is a plus), you have already dealt with client contracts and you have an experience of accountant at the beginning of your career.

The Financial Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Group's finances in the UAE. He oversees accounting, budgeting, tax and treasury activities, while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the Management's strategic decisions.

He will subsequently also take over responsibility for the Group's activities in Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement the Group's overall financial strategy in the UAE.

Oversee the preparation of monthly reporting to the Group, financial statements, budgets and forecasts.

Implement cash flow forecasts.

Manage relationships with local and Group banks and auditors.

Ensure compliance with local (IFRS, VAT UAE) and international standards,

Optimise cash flow,

Assess financial risks and propose mitigation measures,

Participate in investment and financing decisions,

Actively participate in contract negotiations with customers and suppliers (visit the clients)

Manage, supervise and develop the finance team,

Implement a monthly review file to be shared with Head Office teams,

Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives,

Required profile:

Higher degree in finance, accounting or management (MBA or equivalent preferred)

Proven experience (minimum 8-10 years) in financial management, ideally in an international environment, including 3-5 years in Dubai

Proficiency in IFRS standards and UAE tax regulations,

Fluent English and Arabic (French is a plus),

Excellent leadership, communication and strategic analysis skills,

Ability to thrive in a multicultural and dynamic environment,

Sensitivity to Gulf business practices and local compliance requirements.

Mission principale :

Le Responsable Financier est responsable de la gestion stratgique et oprationnelle des finances du Groupe aux EAU. Il supervise les activits comptables, budgtaires, fiscales et de trsorerie, tout en assurant la conformit rglementaire et en soutenant les dcisions stratgiques de la Direction.

Responsabilits cls :

• laborer et mettre en uvre la stratgie financire globale du Groupe aux EAU,
• Superviser la prparation du reporting mensuel au Groupe, des tats financiers, des budgets et des prvisions,

• Mise en place de prvisions de trsorerie,
• Grer les relations avec les banques et les auditeurs locaux et du Groupe,
• Assurer la conformit aux normes locales (IFRS, VAT UAE) et internationales,
• Optimiser les flux de trsorerie,
• valuer les risques financiers et proposer des mesures de mitigation,
• Participer aux dcisions d'investissement et de financement,
• Participer activement aux ngociations contractuelles avec les clients et les fournisseurs.

• Mise en place d'un dossier mensuel de rvision partager avec les quipes du Sige,
• Collaborer avec les autres dpartements pour aligner les objectifs financiers,

Profil recherch :

• Diplme suprieur en finance, comptabilit ou gestion (MBA ou quivalent apprci),
• Exprience confirme, 5 ans minim en tant que Financial Manager, idalement dans un environnement international dont minimum 3 ans Duba,
• Matrise des normes IFRS et des rglementations fiscales des mirats,
• Anglais et Arabe courant (le Franais est un plus),
• Excellentes comptences en leadership, communication et analyse stratgique,
• Capacit voluer dans un environnement multiculturel et dynamique,
• Sensibilit aux pratiques commerciales du Golfe et aux exigences de conformit locale.
