CAM Engineer / CAM Programmer

We are currently seeking a CAM Engineer / CAM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor&aposs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. The candidate should have a minimum of 04 years of experience in Process or Design fields, with a preference for experience in the composite industry.

Responsibilities:

1.Utilize CAM software to generate toolpaths and programs for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.

2.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.

3.Perform simulations and feasibility studies to validate manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.

4. Coordinate with production and quality teams during implementation stages to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing plans.

5. Conduct regular reviews of CAM programs and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.

6.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production teams during manufacturing operations.

7.Stay updated on advancements in CAM software and manufacturing technologies to continuously improve processes.

8.Document and maintain accurate records of CAM programs, tooling, and machining parameters. Utilize nesting software to optimize the layout of parts on raw material sheets for CNC machining processes.

9.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to understand part geometries and manufacturing requirements.

10.Analyze nesting results to maximize material utilization, minimize scrap, and reduce production costs.

11.Develop and maintain nesting strategies and guidelines to streamline the nesting process.

12.Coordinate with production and scheduling teams to prioritize and schedule nesting jobs based on production requirements.

Qualifications

1.Bachelor&aposs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2.Minimum of 04 years of experience in Process or Design fields.

3.Proficiency in CAM software, such as Alpha cam, Master cam, Siemens NX CAM, or any Cam software

4.Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and practices.

5.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

6.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

7.Experience in the composite industry is preferred but not required.
