Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Bangalore, India. With 8 to 11 years of SAP ABAP development experience, the ideal candidate should possess expertise in WRICEF, object-oriented design patterns, and SAP integration technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality SAP software solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design software solutions for SAP applications.
- Develop, test, and maintain SAP applications, ensuring they meet business needs and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in production environments, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with SAP coding best practices and high-quality standards.
- Perform unit testing using ABAP Unit to validate the functionality and reliability of developed solutions.
- Design and implement RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) solutions based on requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the SAP landscape.
- Participate in Sprint and PI (Program Increment) planning sessions, collaborating with product teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 to 11 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP WRICEF developments.
- Strong understanding of SAP Integration Patterns.
- Expertise in SAP Gateway, OData Services, and Core Data Services (CDS).
- In-depth knowledge of NetWeaver and Web Dynpro ABAP.
- Proficient in ABAP CDS and AMDPs (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).

- Strong understanding of object-oriented ABAP design patterns and development best practices.
- Ability to conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Experience in solution design and requirements gathering for RICEFW objects.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents effectively.
- Knowledge of SAP coding best practices, particularly for S/4HANA, ensuring security and performance.
