Head Operations

Role & responsibilities :

• Provide end-to-end operational leadership for the manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery commitments.
  
• Lead and oversee material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory control to ensure uninterrupted production flow and optimal working capital management.
  
• Direct production planning and shop floor execution, ensuring adherence to production schedules, productivity targets, and quality benchmarks.
  
• 
  Drive quality assurance, statutory compliance, and adherence to international manufacturing standards, particularly for cryogenic and pressure vessel products.
  
• Oversee project execution and delivery management, ensuring timely completion of fabrication projects in line with customer specifications and contractual obligations.
  
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team for order planning, forecasting, and fulfillment, ensuring operational readiness and on-time dispatch.
  
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cost optimization strategies, and operational efficiency initiatives, maintaining strict cost control without compromising quality.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, welding codes, fabrication norms, and industry best practices in heavy engineering and pressure vessel manufacturing.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, process optimization, capacity utilization, and waste reduction.
  
• Exercise full operational decision-making authority (excluding finance-related approvals) and report directly to the Managing Director on plant performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  
• Ensure readiness for audits, client inspections, and certification requirements related to pressure vessel and cryogenic equipment manufacturing.
