Skilled Shift Engineer

We are looking for experienced and ambitious SkilledShiftPSV Engineers to join Arriva, based at our Stevenage depot.
As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA.

The Role Will Involve

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability.
• MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks.

  Get Hired
• Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA).
• Attending roadside breakdowns.
• Early/Day shift rota covering 5 out of 7 days Sunday to Saturday working with shift start patterns Days: 8:30am – 4.30pm, Lates 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  

Requirements

• Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation).
• A full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
• Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
