Job Description
- As an experienced EDI-Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience, you are expected to possess end-to-end business knowledge in domains such as Transport, Logistics, Retail, and Warehouse, specifically related to EDI X12 or EDIFACT transactions. Your role will require functional working knowledge of TMS, WMS, OMS, and other ERP systems, along with experience in gathering requirements from stakeholders.
You should be adept at creating map specifications (MRS) and have a basic understanding of communication protocols like FTP, SFTP, AS2, HTTP/HTTPS, API, and web services. Troubleshooting issues and having a basic knowledge of SI dashboard overview, basic SQL queries, and other tracking systems are also essential aspects of this role. Additionally, your experience in end-to-end testing (UAT) with the Business team and customers will be crucial.
It would be advantageous if you have familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow and project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. Your expertise should extend to EDI tools like Mercator 6.7, Data Stage TX 8.0, WTX 8.2/8.4, ITX 9.0, and ITXA 10.1.0, as well as Gentran, GIS, and Sterling Integrator 5.0/6.2.0.
Your background should encompass working in support or development roles, excluding those in support or administrative capacities. Proficiency in various EDI standards formats like EDIFACT, ANSI X12, SAP IDocs, and bespoke formats such as XML, In-house, legacy flat files, CSV, and delimited files is essential. Experience in domains like Logistics, Healthcare, Retail, Banking, or Manufacturing will be highly valued.

Your familiarity with EDI protocols such as FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, API, Web services, Email, WMQ, and Axway Synchrony Gateway AS2 for data transmissions to partners is crucial. Cloud services knowledge including Git, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline integrations, and documentation proficiency in areas like moving to the Production environment and UAT sign-off are also expected.
As either a direct employee or consultant, strong communication skills are a must for effective collaboration and performance in this role.,
