Associate Manager - Design (Graphic Designer Wovens Fabric)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design graphics, patterns, and layouts tailored for woven fabrics across apparel and home textile categories.
  
• Create presentation material, mini collaterals, campaign teasers, and editorial-style layouts for internal and client presentations.
  
• Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and sourcing teams to translate creative ideas into production-ready artwork.
  
• Conduct ongoing trend research on global design directions, color forecasts, and woven texture developments.
  
• Develop CADs, mood boards, color stories, and technical specifications for woven design collections.
  
• Ensure all graphic and textile designs meet brand identity, quality standards
  
  , and are technically feasible for manufacturing.
  
• Oversee design timelines, deliverables, and approvals for seasonal and special collections.
  
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing creative direction and feedback to enhance the overall design output.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related creative discipline.
  
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in graphic or textile design, preferably in apparel, fashion, or home textiles.
  
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and textile-specific software such as NedGraphics, Texcelle, or similar tools.
  
• Solid understanding of woven fabric structures, yarn types, and weaving techniques.
  
• Exceptional sense of color, pattern development, and visual composition.
  
• Ability to interpret market trends and translate them into commercially viable design concepts.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with international clients, export markets, and global design teams.
  
• Awareness of sustainability practices and eco-friendly material applications in textile design.
  
• Familiarity with digital printing techniques, jacquard design, and woven pattern simulation.
  
• Strong storytelling and visualization skills for presenting design ideas effectively.
