Roles and Responsibilities

Designing for the Wovens Fabric Export Market

Research and study trend forecasts for colours, fabrics, prints and concepts.

Translate trends into concepts that respond to business needs for relevant product categories.

Brainstorming ideas with team members on the forthcoming season and design collections.

Fashioning designs and colourways on Penelope for yarn-dyed fabrics.

Creating digital presentations in the form of interactive PDFs to be presented to customers for seasonal presentations, and or new innovation presentations.

Curating and delivering new design concepts, mood boards, fabric qualities and seasonal presentations to major brands by travelling in European and South Asian Regions.

Managing and mentoring junior designers in their day-to-day activities and organizational grooming.

Handling product and design requirements as per the directives received from the customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

The above position requires excellent communication and good aesthetics and one must have done the Bachelor's in Design (Textile Design) from NIFT/Pearl Academy
