Role & responsibilities

Fabric (Greige) Inspection

• Inspect greige fabric as per 4point or companyspecified inspection system
• Identify defects such as weaving faults, stains, holes, GSM variations, shade variation, etc.
• Record inspection findings accurately
• Ensure fabric quality meets internal standards before processing

2. PVC Coated Fabric / Tarp Inspection

• Check coating uniformity, adhesion, and surface finish
• Inspect physical and visual properties such as:

• Shade matching
• GSM
• Width
• Coating defects (air bubbles, pinholes, skipped coating)
• Verify batch numbers, lot traceability, and documentation

3. Packing Operations

• Ensure proper folding, rolling, and packing as per customer specifications
• Label rolls accurately with batch details, grade, and dispatch instructions
• Follow SOPs for moisture protection, bundling, wrapping, palletizing, etc.
• Coordinate with warehouse for dispatch readiness

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain inspection reports, defect logs, and quality records
• Escalate recurring or critical defects to supervisors
• Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic understanding of textile processing and coating technology
• Knowledge of inspection standards (4point system)
• Ability to detect visual and physical defects
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Awareness of safety procedures in production areas
