Role & responsibilities

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Prepare and implement PM schedules for all machines & utilities.
• Ensure PM checklist completion and documentation.
• Identify recurring issues and take corrective steps.

Breakdown Maintenance

• Attend emergency breakdowns and restore operations quickly.
• Root cause analysis of failures.
• Reduce machine downtime & improve reliabilit.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management

• Identify critical spares and maintain minimum stock.
• Coordinate with Purchase & Stores for timely procurement.
• Maintain records of spare consumption.

Equipment Reliability & Machine Health

• Monitor machine parameters and performance.
• Support modifications to improve machine efficiency.
• Undertake calibration coordination with agencies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance logs, PM records, AMC files, calibration reports.
• Update SAP/ERP entries related to maintenance activities.

Safety Compliance

• Ensure machines operate with proper safety guards & standards.
• Participate in safety audits & HIRA activities.
• Promote safe maintenance practices across shifts.

Vendor/Contractor Coordination

• Coordinate with external technicians for AMC/repair work.
• Supervise contractors during major maintenance tasks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should be comfortable working in shifts when required
• Should be physically fit for plant rounds and equipment inspections
• Must follow all safety, health, and environmental guidelines
• Ability to remain calm and solution-focused during urgent breakdowns
