Job Description
- As an Installation and Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Installing and configuring Deployment Server
- Applying planner ESU
- Executing special instructions
- Installing and configuring Enterprise Server
- Installing and configuring Web Server
- Setting up JAS/HTML Server instances on Web Server
- Setting up BSSV Server instances on Web Server
- Setting up AIS Server instance(s) on Web Server
- Installing and configuring Server Manager
- Installing and configuring Server Manager Agent
- Creating and running installation plans
- Conducting post-installation log analysis and surface testing
Your role will also involve performing various upgrade activities, including:
- Application release upgrade
- Tools release upgrade
- Normal upgrade
- Multi-foundation upgrade
- Upgrading different environments
- Surface testing of upgraded instances
- Promotion and testing of objects in upgraded ERP
In addition, you will be responsible for user and role management tasks such as:
- Creating user IDs
- Creating test and production roles

- Assigning environments to roles
- Assigning roles to users
- Resetting passwords for user IDs
- Managing users and roles
- Setting up role sequencing
Furthermore, you will handle security management activities like:
- Setting up security for different roles (test and production)
- Configuring various types of securities (application, action, row, column, etc.)
- Promoting security changes from test to production
- Identifying and resolving security conflicts
- Implementing Segregation of Duties (SOD) based on requirements
