Role Overview:
As a Delivery Manager at Astar Data LLP, you will be instrumental in leading the successful execution of our most critical client engagements from inception to completion. You will navigate complex project landscapes, orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing client expectations, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions.
This role demands a strategic leader who can balance technical acumen with exceptional client relationship management, driving both operational excellence and sustained business growth. You will work closely with senior leadership, project teams, and key client stakeholders, directly impacting our reputation for delivery excellence and contributing significantly to our clients' success and our firm's expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for all delivery-related matters.
- Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile methodologies and best practices across delivery teams to enhance efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasts with precision, ensuring profitability and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Mentor, guide, and empower high-performing delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous professional development.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing robust contingency plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Establish and optimize service delivery frameworks, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and adherence to service level agreements for managed services and project engagements.
- Oversee the technical execution and architectural integrity of IT solutions, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure deployments that meet client requirements.
- Strategically manage third-party vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring their performance meets project requirements and quality standards.

- Extensive experience (17-21 years) in Delivery Management and Program Management within a fast-paced technology or consulting environment, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.
- Exceptional leadership and Team Management capabilities, with a history of building, motivating, and guiding high-performing technical and delivery teams.
- Strong proficiency in Project Management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project needs.
- Demonstrated expertise in Stakeholder Management and Client Engagement, with the ability to build rapport, manage expectations, and drive consensus with diverse groups.
- Deep understanding of Service Delivery principles and Process Improvement frameworks, with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency and quality.
- Proven ability in Budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource planning for large-scale projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility and project profitability.
- Adept at Risk Management, with the capacity to identify potential issues early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Solid background in IT Project Management, including experience with various technology stacks, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycles.
- Experience in Vendor Management, including selection, negotiation, and performance oversight of third-party service providers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical and business concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable institution.
