• Key Responsibilities
• Electronics Design & Development
• Design and develop custom circuits for defence systems, including power management, signal processing, and control systems.
• Create schematics and layout PCBs using tools like KiCad, Altium Designer, or Eagle.
• Embedded Systems Development
• Program microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, STM32, ESP32) for custom PCBs using Embedded C/C++ or Python.
• Integrate and program sensors and peripherals (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure sensors).
• Hardware Integration & Testing
• Work with components such as relays, voltage regulators, and operational amplifiers to build and test custom electronic modules.
• Debug and validate designs using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools.
• Ensure ruggedness and reliability for defence-grade applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Contribute to the development of edge-computing solutions on platforms like Nvidia Jetson.
• Prototyping & Innovation
• Lead projects from concept to prototype, driving innovation in electronics design.
• Research and recommend hardware components that enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Qualifications
• Education
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience
• 13 years of experience in electronics, embedded systems, or hardware design, preferably in R&D or product development.
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in PCB design and circuit simulation tools.
• Strong foundation in microcontroller programming and sensor integration.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with edge devices like Nvidia Jetson for real-time processing.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations and ruggedization for defence applications.
• Understanding of machine learning/computer vision integration in embedded systems.
