About This Role

You will be responsible for designing and developing Electronics Systems (Embedded Hardware) for our cutting-edge defence products. This role blends embedded systems expertise with hardware design, enabling seamless integration of electronics into advanced weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Electronics Design & Development

• Design and develop custom circuits for defence systems, including power management, signal processing, and control systems.
• Create schematics and layout PCBs using tools like KiCad, Altium Designer, or Eagle.

Embedded Systems Development

• Program microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, STM32, ESP32) for custom PCBs using Embedded C/C++ or Python.
• Integrate and program sensors and peripherals (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure sensors).

Hardware Integration & Testing

• Work with components such as relays, voltage regulators, and operational amplifiers to build and test custom electronic modules.
• Debug and validate designs using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools.
• Ensure ruggedness and reliability for defence-grade applications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Contribute to the development of edge-computing solutions on platforms like Nvidia Jetson.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• 15 years of experience in electronics, embedded systems, or hardware design, in R&D or product development.
• Proficiency in PCB design and circuit simulation tools.
• Strong foundation in microcontroller programming and sensor integration.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations and ruggedization for defence applications.
