Role Overview:

As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing our SaaS platforms dashboard. We are looking for an experienced and creative Product Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering the optimal user experience across our product portfolio of cyber security SaaS. This is a high visibility role and has a large contribution to the overall success of the product and customer satisfaction.

The role requires deep collaboration with the leadership, product, technology, customer success and sales teams. Youll report to the CEO.

At Astra your key responsibilities would be:

• Craft every detail of new and existing product features, from understanding the product requirement/customer pain point to defining wireframes, low/high definition prototypes and finally working with the technology team to take it live.
• Partner closely with our Product, Marketing and Technology teams to understand what the users need, want, and love about the product. Use the data to plan and define the optimal user experience.
• Build intuitive designs and come up with ways to make these easy to understand by our users by using product explainers, guides, tutorials, etc.
  
• Create design systems that help with a common design language across the entire product portfolio in a distributed team.
• Aid product marketing in telling the product stories in the best way possible to help users in product adoption and onboarding.
• Stay updated on recent developments within and outside of the industry by performing competitive analysis, and continuously working on evolving our products.
• Influence, with demonstrated product design expertise, what and how we build
• Perform user acceptance tests, define feature lists, and develop user personas from scenarios of user and interaction models.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 3-4 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably for a B2B or consumer SaaS product
• Design experience with Figma (required), Storybook (good to have)
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a design-related discipline like Interaction, Graphics, or Interface Design
• A digital portfolio that displays stunning conceptual and creative thinking skills, as well as a solid knowledge of typography, color theory, UI design, and layout principles
• Track record of building products from scratch and taking complete ownership of design output
