About the Team and the Role:
The Warehouse Management team at Ather is responsible for managing system design, process implementation, layout optimization, and establishing the long-term operational framework for the warehouse.
This role is for a Warehouse Planner who will drive strategic roadmaps, digital transformation, process optimization, and stakeholder collaborations to design a best-in-class warehouse facility.
Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize warehouse processes and systems to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Formulate long-term strategic and digital roadmaps to build benchmark digital warehouses.
• 
  Lead project execution and initiatives across CFTs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet clear success metrics.
• Oversee and facilitate process, system, and inventory audits, ensuring timely closure of NCs using RCA and CAPA methodologies.
• Partner with Industrial Engineering to conduct warehouse work content studies and finalize warehouse layout configurations.
• Collaborate with Central Planning to align monthly production targets, manage inventory policies, and stabilize inventory plans.
• Coordinate with the development team on PSS and APDS processes to ensure smooth product-process integration.
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to draft comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW) for new warehouses and storage areas.
  

Experience And Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech degree with additional weightage for MBA in Operations/ Supply Chain Mgmt
• Min. 10+ Years of experience in warehouse function with deep understanding and implementation experience of warehouse systems and processes
  

Must Have Competencies

• Digital warehouse blueprinting, system design, and large-scale warehouse process implementation
• Warehouse layout design, industrial space optimization, and workflow simulation planning
• System management using SAP WM or equivalent enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms
• Operational audit management, corrective actions (CAPA), and structured root cause analysis (RCA)
  

Good to Have Competencies

• Sourcing documentation formulation, including drafting Statements of Work (SOW) for logistics infrastructure
• Inventory modeling, demand integration, and inventory planning alignment with central schedules
• Work content study execution and application of industrial engineering principles to warehouse tasks
• New product introduction workflow integration under standard product development frameworks
