As a Backend Engineer within the Search Platform team, your responsibilities include building and deploying features daily in a highly scalable, distributed environment. Collaborate with a diverse team of skilled engineers, architects, product managers, and designers to create innovative solutions. By reviewing code with a focus on readability, testing, documentation, security, and performance, you contribute to maintaining high coding standards. Sharing your expertise through formal and informal knowledge-sharing sessions, you mentor and elevate the skills of your colleagues.

To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in backend application development and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science. Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable RESTful microservices and familiarity with modern object-oriented programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, or Python are essential. Additionally, expertise in at least one database technology (e.g., RDBMS or NoSQL) and a thorough understanding of cloud architecture patterns are required.
If you have experience in ElasticSearch or other search engine technologies, Developer Experience/Productivity, or proficiency in Java, it is considered an added advantage. Your passion for collaboration, strong communication skills, and a broad knowledge of the SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS industry will further enhance your candidacy for this role.,
