Role Overview

We are seeking a Robot Programming Engineer to join our Pune team on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial robots for various manufacturing applications. This position involves travel to customer sites, where youll provide installation, commissioning, and ongoing support. The duration of on-site visits can vary based on project requirements, so the ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, adaptable, and eager to deliver hands-on solutions in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize robot programs on industrial platforms (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa).
• Configure controllers, interfaces, and safety systems for seamless operation.
• Install, calibrate, and integrate end-effectors and sensors with cross-functional teams.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance and maintain performance documentation.
• Analyze workflows to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance throughput.
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure performance (speed, accuracy, repeatability).
• Handle on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and client training.
• Stay updated on robotics technologies and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Diploma in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major industrial robot brand.
• Proficiency in robot programming (KRL, RAPID, etc.) with basic PLC integration knowledge.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals in automation systems.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills in robotics environments.
• Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration and documentation.
• Willingness to travel for on-site project requirements.
• Experience with simulation tools, AI/vision systems, or offline programming is a plus.

Working Details:

• Location: Bhosari, Pune (On-site, Full-time)
• Workdays: Monday to Saturday
• Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Travel: Regular visits to client locations, with varying on-site durations to meet project needs
