AUM Capital - Principal - Investment Banking

About the Company :
- A leading Asset Management Company (AMC) with pan-India presence and managing assets of more than INR 25,000+ Crores, catering to Large Corporates Treasuries, Financial Institutions, Provident Funds, Endowments and HNI/UHNIs across the country is hiring a "Principal - Investment Banking (IB)" professional at Kolkata/Mumbai.
- The incumbent will be a 'key member' of the Investment Banking (IB) team and shall be accountable for the following tasks and responsibilities :

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in debt market trading within a financial institution (AMC preferably).
- Prior experience in Client Engagement, Due Diligence, Market Research & Analysis, Deal Execution (Trades in Fixed Income Securities (FIS) including Government Bonds, Corporate Bonds, Treasury Bills and other Debt instruments) will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, debt instruments and trading strategies with 'Fixed Income Dealing' experience into SLR/Non-SLR will be an added advantage.
- Experience to Cash Flow - Money Market and Bond products.
- Should be able to monitor market trends, analyze economic indicators and assess risks to identify investment opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, providing timely market insights & market feedback on rates/yield-cycle/spreads.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to develop, build and maintain client relationships.

The preferred candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria :
- Graduate/Post-Graduate along with CFA/CIIB certification.
- 10+ years of experience working with Investment Banks and Boutique Advisory firms.
- Should have good knowledge of products and entire value-chain of Investment Banking activities, including M&A and capital raising.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements.
- Analytical mind and high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, writing and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
