Job Description

The Institutional Equities division is looking for an Institutional Salesperson at with direct previous experience selling research and Mid & small cap stock ideas to Fund Managers , banks treasuries, and hedge funds_ The ideal candidate will be from Equity Sales markets background from a reputed broking house and have proven experience and understanding of equity markets dynamics, sector & company research reports, corporate developments and macro and micro economic scenario.
The candidate will have opportunity to manage the relationship with some of the largest institutions in the Indian equity and derivatives markets.
The candidates will be able to drive revenue targets through new business development, as well as ensuring increase in business from existing clients.
The candidate should share a good rapport with fund managers, dealers on the buy side. Should be well versed with equity market research and preferably has experience to work on Bloomberg system.
Key Job Responsibilities:


- Cultivate relationships with institutional portfolio managers and deliver superior investment ideas.
- Manage company and analyst marketing, meetings, conference calls, and industry events with clients in a demanding, entrepreneurial and dynamic team environment.
- Day to day management of relationships with asset managers /portfolio managers, buy-side analysts, hedge fund managers, pension funds, traders) ensuring that firm research is disseminated, and company management teams are introduced to appropriate clients.
- Provide daily research calls & sales to assigned accounts.
- Ensure empanelment of new clients.
- Candidate should be able to work in target driven revenue generation environment with excellent opportunities for career growth and learning,

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Must be tracking Indian capital markets in either equity research or Institutional equity sales
- Must have experience of atleast 5 years.
- Must have excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills Keen passion for learning
- Candidate must be a graduate and fluency in English is prerequisite. NISM equity / derivative certification a prerequisite.
