Job Description
- The Manager of IT Infrastructure & Applications is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's IT infrastructure and application systems. You will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems to support business operations. Leading a team of IT professionals, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with other departments to deliver high-quality IT services are key aspects of this role.
Overseeing the maintenance and support of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services will be part of your responsibility. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure, implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans, monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and scalability, and manage data center operations.
In terms of Applications Management, you will oversee the support and maintenance of enterprise applications, ensuring they are aligned with business needs and are scalable, secure, and reliable. Managing the application lifecycle, collaborating with business units to identify application requirements, and overseeing the integration of new applications with existing systems will also fall under your purview.
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, setting performance goals, conducting regular performance reviews, and managing staffing will be crucial for effective team leadership. Additionally, managing relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts, developing and managing the IT budget, and ensuring security and compliance with industry standards and regulations will be part of your responsibilities.
Collaborating with senior leadership to support the development and execution of the IT strategy, identifying emerging technologies and trends, supporting the development of long-term IT roadmaps, and providing strategic guidance on IT investments and initiatives are key components of strategic planning in this role.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure and applications management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and enterprise applications, experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is desirable.

- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Security and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or AWS/AZURE Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.,
