Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Piping Engineer. The Piping Engineer will be responsible for calculations, piping design, pipe work, and stress analysis on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Piping Design Basis and perform piping design calculations.
• Prepare Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and select materials for piping systems.
• Develop Valve Material Specifications (VMS) and specify valve types and materials.
• Prepare datasheets for specialty items like expansion joints, supports, and hangers.
• Create specifications for valves, pipes, and fittings.
• Maintain critical line and tie-in lists to ensure proper integration during construction.
• Develop Material Requisitions (MR) for specialty items.
• Review and validate piping drawings, designs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping systems.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in oil and gas piping projects.
• Proficiency in piping design software (AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards
• Familiarity with stress analysis tools (CAESAR II).
