Senior Furniture & Product Designer

As a Senior Furniture & Product Designer, you will be a key player in the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to final production. Your responsibilities will include:

In-House Design & Development:

• Conceptualize and design new and innovative furniture pieces and collections that align with our brands aesthetic and market trends.
• Develop detailed product specifications, including 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and material selections.
• Create and manage the development of prototypes, working hands-on to refine and perfect designs.
• Conduct market research and stay abreast of emerging trends, materials, and technologies in the furniture and product design industry.
• Present design concepts and detailed proposals to internal stakeholders for review and approval.

Manufacturers & Partners Management:

• Act as the primary design liaison with our domestic and international manufacturing partners.
• Clearly communicate design intent, technical specifications, and quality standards to ensure flawless execution.
• Review and approve factory drawings, samples, and pre-production models.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to troubleshoot design and production challenges, finding innovative and cost-effective solutions.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities as needed to oversee production runs and ensure quality control.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with our network of manufacturers and suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in furniture design and product development.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successfully launched furniture products.
• Proven experience working directly with manufacturers and a thorough understanding of various production techniques and materials (wood, metal, upholstery, etc.).
• A bachelors degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field is preferred.
