Job Description
- The Team Leader (Sales) is responsible for managing the sales team within the Tele Sales department, under the guidance of the Head of Sales. Your primary goal is to coordinate sales operations and implement effective sales techniques to consistently meet and exceed sales targets. By collaborating with customers and team members, you will evaluate budgets, P&L statements, and identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the sales process.
Your role involves mentoring sales team members, setting targets, providing sales training, and devising sales strategies. You will be responsible for setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and streamlining activities to boost sales performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the Tele Sales team.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and strengthen the company's market presence.
- Achieve growth and sales targets by effectively managing the team and assessing their strengths and weaknesses.
- Cultivate professional relationships with key contacts in customer accounts and memberships.
- Foster enduring customer relations with current and new suppliers through collaboration.
- Create and implement new sales initiatives and programmes to target specific demographics.
- Collaborate with Commercial Manager, Courses & Events Team Leader, and colleagues to implement changes and enhancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To effectively manage the Sales team, you will:
- Set objectives for all team members.
- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions.
- Manage absences.
- Handle performance evaluations.
- Provide support and development opportunities to the team.
Job Requirements / Skills:
- Proficient in time management and workload prioritization.
- Industry knowledge and experience are advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent customer service and people management skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Data-oriented mindset.
Education / Experience:
- Graduation or Post-Graduation in any field.
