Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer at Bain & Company, you will be responsible for delivering application modules with minimal supervision and providing guidance to associate/entry-level engineers. You will work within an Agile/scrum software development team to design, build, and implement new features and functionality in internal software systems. Your focus will be on delivering value to global users and supporting key business initiatives through enterprise-scale browser-based or mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with teams to develop and update enterprise applications, collaborating in Agile team events and activities
- Identify technical steps required for completing a story, evaluate product backlog items, and determine the best approach for developing required functionality
- Demonstrate high-level business and domain knowledge, analyze user stories, and perform task breakdown to complete committed tasks as per sprint schedule
- Follow standard application design and architecture, write unit test plans, participate in testing and implementation of application releases, and provide ongoing support
- Acquire new skills through internal/external trainings to be a T-Shaped team member, contributing to the improvement of team experience during sprint retrospective
- Write technical documentation as required and contribute to evaluating new technologies for software development
Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor's or equivalent degree
- 3-5 years of experience in developing enterprise-scale applications
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and processes
- Strong communication, customer service, analytic, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated record of T-shaped behavior to expedite delivery by managing conflicts/contingencies,
