Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Ankleshwar. The Insurance Agent will identify prospective customers, explain Bajaj General Insurance products, and recommend suitable insurance solutions based on individual needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting meetings, handling inquiries, providing quotations, and assisting customers with policy issuance, renewals, and basic claim-related guidance. The role involves maintaining accurate records, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey. The Insurance Agent is expected to uphold regulatory standards, represent the brand professionally in the local market, and build long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills related to Insurance Sales, including prospecting, consultation, and closing insurance policies.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Insurance products and coverage options across motor, health, home, and other general insurance lines.
• Candidates should possess experience or knowledge of Insurance Brokerage practices, partner coordination, and intermediary-driven business.
• Candidates should possess Finance-related skills such as basic financial literacy, premium calculation, and understanding of risk and returns.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and problem-solving for policyholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field are preferred; IRDAI license or eligibility to obtain one is an advantage.
• Proficiency in local language and English, familiarity with basic computer applications, and the ability to work in an on-site, target-driven environment are beneficial.
• Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is desirable but motivated candidates with strong interpersonal skills will also be considered.
