Role Description The Team Manager role at Bajaj Housing Finance Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Madurai. The Team Manager will lead and supervise a sales or operations team, set clear performance goals, and ensure targets are met in line with company policies and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring team performance, providing coaching and feedback, managing workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues. The role involves reviewing loan applications or business cases, supporting process improvements, preparing regular reports and dashboards, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The Team Manager will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative work environment, supporting talent development, and upholding risk and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications

• Strong team leadership and people management skills, with experience in setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and mentorship.
• Proficiency in sales or operations management within financial services or housing finance, including experience in loan processes, documentation, and customer relationship management.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports, with working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and basic MIS or dashboard management.
• Sound understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory guidelines relevant to NBFC or banking operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in housing finance, lending, or NBFC/banking sector and familiarity with the Madurai market will be considered beneficial.
