Solution Consultant

The Solutions Consultant is a customer-facing expert who helps Basware prospects and customers design, configure, and adopt Baswares accounts payable (AP) automation and invoice lifecycle management solutions to meet their business and technical needs. The role combines finance process knowledge, AP domain expertise, and SaaS / integration skills to support the full pre?sales cycle and smooth handover into delivery.

• Design end?to?end solutions including workflows, document flows, and integrations with ERP systems such as SAP and other financial systems.
• Advise customers on best practices in AP automation, e?invoicing, compliance, and invoice lifecycle management, acting as a trusted advisor to finance and IT stakeholders.
• Create and maintain solution documentation including process flows, configuration guidelines, and demo scripts.
• Provide occasional enablement and training for internal teams and customers on Basware AP solutions and related processes.
• 
  Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder?management skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to business audiences and vice versa.

Preferred Skills

• Hands?on experience with AP automation, e?invoicing, or invoice lifecycle management platforms, ideally Basware or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of global e?invoicing and tax compliance requirements and their impact on AP and finance operations.

Get Hired
• Experience designing or supporting integrations between SaaS solutions and large?scale ERP landscapes, including SAP environments.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with XSL and XSLT for XML transformation from non Basware core format to Basware core format(like, Teapps, Peppol, Finvoice, OIOUBL, cXML etc. )
• Solid understanding of XML structure, XPath, and schema validation.
• Proficiency in jQuery and familiarity with JavaScript fundamentals
