Objective of the Role:

- To conceptualize, launch and lead a new IPs in Exhibitions business, ensuring that we meet our creative and financial objectives. To ensure the viability and sustainability of the projects launched and ensure year on year growth thereby contributing in the organizational long term growth plan.

Role & Responsibilities:

- To create annual strategy, budget and road map for the events for the project team taking into account market trends and the business environment and review this on a monthly / quarterly basis reporting on any findings.

- To manage and develop the exhibition sales team setting objectives to achieve pre-set targets identified from the exhibition sales plan.

- To generate revenue by space selling & sponsorship selling through telephone solicitation, electronic, written correspondence and face-to-face meetings.

- To ensure contracts are accurately raised and reflect the proposal made and, coordinate with the legal team, ensure they are signed and returned.

- To ensure that the sustainability of an event is taken into account when offering availability to a client.

- To ensure the projects are timely updated and monitor as part of the process to ensure that key client relationships are developed on an on-going consistent basis and that this information is recorded and reported each month in the CRM system.

- To be accountable and responsible for P&L of all the projects launched and handling

- To creating long term marketing plans

- To communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships (Government & Non-government Organisation)

- To managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently and under quality guidelines.

- To providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team members

- To undertake training as required to efficiently perform the duties of this role.

- Effectively leverage support teams not under direct management

- To adopt and sustain a systematic approach to the work of the team within the organizational process and policies.

- To contribute to the success of the team in meeting organizations aims and objectives.
