Job Description

Job Title: Waterproofing Sales Officer
Department: Sales / Projects
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager
Job Purpose:
To drive waterproofing product sales through effective lead generation, contractor and applicator development, and project conversions by establishing strong relationships with influencers like builders, architects, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly and quarterly waterproofing product sales targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and infrastructure segments.
Handle both retail and project-based waterproofing sales.
2. Market Development
Build and maintain relationships with applicators, contractors, engineers, and builders.

Conduct site visits to identify potential waterproofing requirements.
Promote company waterproofing systems and solutions through technical presentations and demos.
3. Influencer Management
Engage with architects, consultants, and project management teams for product specifications.

Generate business leads through networking and site references.
4. Technical & Application Support
Conduct site inspection and suggest suitable waterproofing systems.

Site trials and product demonstrations.
Ensure proper execution and after-sales support to maintain customer satisfaction.
5. Reporting & Coordination
Maintain daily visit reports and update CRM or sales tracking systems.

Work closely with the technical and supply chain teams to ensure timely material delivery.
Provide market intelligence and competitor activity reports.
Key Skills Required:
Strong sales and communication skills.

Knowledge of waterproofing products and application techniques.
Ability to identify site issues and recommend technical solutions.
Relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated and result-oriented approach.
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Graduation in any discipline (with relevant experience).

Experience:
25 years in sales of waterproofing, construction chemicals, paints, or building materials.

Preferred Industry Background:
Construction Chemicals / Paints / Cement / Building Materials / Adhesives
