About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Supply Chain & Operations Lead to build and manage the supply chain function for a fast-growing D2C business.

This is an early-stage role where you will be responsible not just for managing an existing supply chain, but for building systems and processes from the ground up across sourcing, manufacturing coordination, warehousing, inventory planning and multi-channel fulfilment.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an environment with multiple vendors, evolving processes and tight, launch-critical timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor & Supply Chain Management:

• Own the end-to-end supply chain across existing formulation and packaging vendors.
• Identify, onboard and manage new vendors as the business scales.
• Set up and manage 3PL and warehousing partnerships.
• Build vendor onboarding SOPs covering costing, quality checks, documentation and delivery SLAs.
• Manage multiple vendors with varying capabilities and ensure timely execution.

Demand & Inventory Planning:

• Build inventory and demand-planning systems from the ground up.
• Track inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability across channels.
• Monitor stock-outs, ageing inventory and excess stock.
• Identify potential supply risks early and recommend corrective actions.
• Build processes for forecasting, replenishment and inventory optimisation.

Multi-Channel Fulfilment:

• Design and manage fulfilment operations across:

• 1. D2C
• 2. Quick Commerce
• 3. Marketplaces
• 4. B2B Gifting
• 5. Retail

• Ensure smooth order processing, dispatch and delivery across channels.
• Coordinate with warehouses and logistics partners to maintain fulfilment SLAs.

Launch & New Product Coordination:

• Work closely with the NPD & Commercialisation Lead on packaging component sourcing and MOQ decisions.
• Ensure formulation, packaging and supply timelines remain aligned.
• Plan supply requirements around new product launches.
• Work against hard launch deadlines and proactively identify bottlenecks.

KPIs & Reporting:

• Own launch-critical supply chain KPIs from day one, including:
• 1. OTIF
• 2. Fill Rate
• 3. Dispatch Accuracy
• 4. Stock Availability
• 5. Inventory Ageing

• Build dashboards and reporting systems to track supply chain performance.
• Use data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

• 7-15 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics or distribution.
• Experience within FMCG, D2C, Beauty & Personal Care or Consumer Brands.
• Strong preference for candidates who have built/implemented supply chain systems, rather than only operated within established systems.
• Early-stage, startup or pre-Series A experience is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent vendor relationships without established/shared systems.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with dashboards; Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• ERP exposure such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Must have experience working against a fixed and immovable launch deadline and be able to demonstrate how they delivered against it.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership and execution orientation.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and building processes from scratch.
